A Healthier Community Begins With You!
Everything we do strengthens our community and the people who live here. We’re the YMCA, and for more than 162 years we’ve been providing the support that men, women and children of all ages and backgrounds need to reach their full potential and live healthy, confident and connected lives.
When you join the Y, you’re stronger
and so is your community!

Membership For All
As a nonprofit, charitable organization, we believe everyone deserves a chance to learn, grow and thrive, so the Lancaster Family YMCA offers financial scholarships to individuals and families who might otherwise not be able to afford membership or program fees.
Through the Lancaster Family YMCA Financial Scholarship Program, families and individuals who want to participate in Y membership and Y programs, but can’t afford to pay the full fee, can receive financial assistance to help offset the cost.
Anyone with an annual household income of $50,000 or less is eligible to apply for a Y Financial Scholarship towards Y membership or programs.
Financial Scholarship applications are available at the Welcome Desks of our City Center, Lampeter-Strasburg and YMCA at New Holland branches or by downloading the following file.
