Your gift to the Y during the Extraordinary Give help us provide Financial Scholarships for children to attend our preschool programs and summer camp at Camp Shand.
By providing access to these early learning and summer learning and enrichment programs, the Lancaster Family YMCA is working to close the youth achievement gap that often occurs between children from lower-income families who otherwise could not afford these opportunities and their higher-income peers.
Don’t miss Camp Shand’s annual Creepy Camp weekend. With haunted woods, scary camp fire, crafts and Halloween games, it’s a frighteningly fun time for kids ages 6-15.
Creepy Camp runs from 7 PM on October 28 through 11 AM on October 29

As a nonprofit, we count on charitable support to deliver our mission, and we’ve been meeting that promise of improving the lives of men, women and children across Lancaster County since 1854. To commemorate the year of our founding, and to provide a way for Y members to show pride and support for the Y as we continue to strengthen the community, we’ve created the 1854 CLUB.
Funds raised through the 1854 CLUB go towards the Y’s annual fundraising campaign which helps provide the resources needed to advance our mission in nurturing the potential of all youth, improving the health and wellness of our community and promoting social responsibility initiatives.
