Weekend Pool Closures at the Lampeter-Strasburg Y

Like many aquatic facilities in our community, the Y is challenged with staffing our lifeguard positions while facing a downturn in the number of available lifeguards in the area. In the transition from summer to fall, this issue becomes more acute as many of our part-time summer staff return to school. As a result, we currently do not have enough lifeguards to properly staff both our indoor and outdoor pools at the L-S Y over the holiday weekend. Please click here to view the modified pool schedules at the L-S Y for September 4-7.

We regret that the L-S Y Outdoor Pool will be closed on Monday, September 7.
