YMCA at New Holland: Child Care Provider

The Child Watch program provides high quality childcare to the children at the YMCA. Child Care Providers must have the ability to communicate in a clear, positive manner to the children, parents, staff and members. This position will assist and lead educational and fun activities during the work shift along with providing consistent supervision with a focus on safety for the children at all times. Will demonstrate the YMCA core values by incorporating them into the day’s activities. This position will be required to attend mandatory trainings and monthly staff meetings. Must be able to physically lift over 30 lbs. and be able to lead activities in a gymnasium as well as in a classroom setting. This is a nonexempt, part time position totaling 15-20 hours per week. Shifts available are: 8am-1:30pm and 3-8pm weekdays and Saturday mornings 8am-1:30pm.

Must obtain all clearances required and be CPR/First Aid/AED certified within 90 days of employment. Required minimum of one year experience working with children.
