Lancaster Family YMCA REOPENING Policy and Procedures

Lancaster Family YMCA REOPENING Policy and Procedures

We are very excited to reopen our Lampeter Strasburg and City Center branches on September 14, 2020! We thank you for the trust you have placed in our Y over the years. We appreciate our members, staff and vendors for being very supportive as we announced our financial challenges and their impact on our reopening in a COVID-19 environment. Our team has done a lot of work to enable us to reopen again with new procedures and policies in place to keep our community safe and our facilities open for you.  Our Camp Shand facility will not be reopening.

In alignment with the CDC, local licensing agencies and health officials, we are implementing important guidelines and operational changes as we reopen. These changes are listed below and are subject to change based on additional guidance from health officials. We also needed to make adjustments to make our reopening financially viable. As membership increases and guidelines change, programming and operations will increase, including group exercise classes and our hours of operations.

We are committed to reopening our facilities and programs in a safe and caring manner. This reopening plan is a living document and all necessary changes will be made to ensure growth of our programs and the continued health and safety of members and staff.
