L-S YMCA Otters Summer Swim Team

The Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA Otters Swim Team is a summer swim team that competes in the Lancaster County Summer Swim League. Our philosophy is to help kids become better swimmers and also better people. We base our program on the YMCA’s Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Our focus is on technique enhancement as well as personal goal setting, camaraderie and fun. It’s a progressive program where all children get to swim, focusing on their personal best in order to improve as an individual as well as support their fellow teammates. For those interested in continuing to build on their swim team experience or prepare for a fall competitive swimming program, the L-S Y Otters is a great option for off-season training for all varieties of sports.

L-S YMCA Rumblers Developmental Swim Team

Rumblers is a non-competitive swim team which focuses on the four competitive strokes, turns and diving. We hold internal “mock meets” so swimmers can work to achieve personal bests and gain experience in a swim meet environment. The goals are to improve stroke mechanics, build endurance, have fun and develop the next generation of competitive swimmers. (Ages 5-18)
